Although Jeremy has been a resident of Broward County since 1998, he is originally from a small town located twenty miles west of Boston, Massachusetts. Shortly after obtaining his bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1997, Jeremy relocated to South Florida.
While employed by Flour Corporation (world's largest, publicly owned engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance services company) Jeremy made the decision to attend law school.

In 2002, Jeremy graduated with honors from the Nova Southeastern University Law Center. Since graduating Nova Southeastern University Jeremy has frequently returned as a guest speaker, lecturer, and volunteer Judge for Moot Court competitions.
After practicing as an attorney behind some wonderful mentors for several years, Jeremy co-founded Cohen & Owens, P.A., in June of 2005. The focus of his practice is in the areas of real estate litigation and transactions, commercial and residential landlord tenant, commercial and civil litigation, estate planning, and corporations. Jeremy is admitted to the Florida Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is also a member of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Aventura & Sunny Isles Chamber of Commerce, B'nai B'rith International, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Attorney's’ Title Insurance Fund, and Lauderdale Small Boat Club. Jeremy Cohen is also a member of Broward Attorney’s Real Estate Council.
